Behshid Farhangian

Behshid Farhangian is an Iranian-Canadian artist and concept designer based in Vancouver, Canada. Originally from Tehran, Iran, Behshid’s work explores the vibrant intersection of color, texture, and emotion. With a background in Industrial Engineering and Architecture, she blends technical precision with artistic creativity, creating immersive visual experiences that resonate with audiences around the world.

Behshid’s artwork has been showcased in exhibitions across Canada, the US, Iran, South Korea, and Italy. Notable exhibitions include the Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival, CICA Museum, and Shemrak Gallery. Her paintings often explore the beauty and complexity of nature, evoking powerful emotions and inviting viewers to reflect on the human condition.

As a dedicated educator, Behshid has taught drawing and painting since 2018 and has served as an instructor of interior design at Tehran Conservatory University. In 2016, she founded the Vis Annual Competition in Tehran, a platform to support emerging artists and provide exposure to new voices in the art world.

Through her art and her ongoing commitment to education, Behshid continues to inspire and connect people across cultures through the transformative power of creativity.

Aram Moinifar

Aram Moinifar Iranian-Canadian Civil Engineer. Aram Moinifar is a highly skilled civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in the design and construction of industrial and residential units in Iran and Canada. Throughout these years, he has consistently managed to fulfill client needs with exceptional precision and artistic craftsmanship, delivering projects in the best possible way. In addition to his primary work in civil engineering, he has been designing and creating jewelry and wooden art structures for the past 10 years. This has allowed him to effectively apply his creativity in artistic and design fields. Furthermore, Aram Moinifar teaches jewelry making courses for aspiring artists. His goal in these courses is not only to teach jewelry-making techniques but also to enhance students' creativity and improve their design skills.
